You don’t have to climb a mountain to be brave. Sometimes it’s one tiny brave thing.
Sometimes, bravery looks like whispering “yes” to yourself when everything in you is scared to move.
Today, I want you to challenge yourself.
Do one tiny brave thing—just for you.
How to choose your one tiny brave thing today:
It could be something simple like:
- Speaking up when you usually stay quiet. Maybe at work, your child’s school, or with a family member.
- Wearing that outfit you love but feel nervous about (you’re going to ROCK it, girl.)
- Saying “no” to something that drains your energy.
- Signing up for that class or photoshoot you’ve been thinking about.
- Sending the text. Making the call. Opening the door.
Bravery isn’t about the size of the action, and it takes practice. It’s about choosing yourself, again and again, even when it feels impossible.
My Favorite Tiny Brave Thing
Take a mirror selfie. It’s a tiny brave thing, but it’s SO IMPORTANT. TRUST ME ON THIS. You don’t have to post it or show ANYBODY. The practice will help you improve and eventually you’ll be so happy with your selfies.
The key to this: Take 100 selfies until you find one you love. It takes time and practice to get good at this, but you WILL- and then keep it for yourself. You’ll love it so much you’ll want to look back at it. A lot.
Self-love isn’t built all at once.
It’s created over time in little moments of courage — one tiny brave thing at a time.
So… what’s your brave look like today?
If you’re looking for ways to encourage your own bravery and confidence- you’re in the right place. Stay tuned because we’re just getting started!
